What is Bioguard®?

BioGuard®is a clinically studied advanced probiotic containing 1 billion beneficial bacteria that help defend your immune system at your most vulnerable areas – ear, nose and throat. The active ingredient is called S. Salivarius K12, which produces something known as BLIS that battles dangerous bacteria that affect normal immune balance.

How do I take BioGuard®?

As a dietary supplement for adults and children 6 years of age and older, take (1) tablet per day. Chew completely before swallowing. When chewing BioGuard, allow the chewable to remain in your mouth for 10 to 15 seconds. For even better results, take it two hours after brushing your teeth and gargling with mouthwash, which is when bacteria is swept out of your mouth. If you are taking an antibiotic, you should wait two hours after taking your antibiotic to take BioGuard®. If you feel vulnerable to Immune threats, you can to take extra chewable tablet.

Do you have to chew BioGuard® or can you just swallow it?

For optimal protection, chew the tablet completely and keep it in your mouth for 10 to 15 seconds before swallowing.

Should I take BioGuard® daily?

Can I take BioGuard® with medication?

Yes, there are no known interactions with BioGuard® and medications. However, if you are taking antibiotics, you should take BioGuard® two hours after ingestion of the antibiotic. (BioGuard® is bacteria. albeit good bacteria, and antibiotics don’t discriminate between the bacteria they destroy). Remember; always discuss new supplements and medication with your doctor or healthcare provider to ensure the health product is right for you.

Are there any allergens I should be aware of?

BioGuard® contains Dextrose, Fructose, Lactitol and natural strawberry flavor. For those people hypersensitive to those ingredients, we recommend that they contact their doctor or healthcare provider before taking BioGuard®. Also, may contain trace amounts of milk protein.
